I'm a 13-year-old kid, I've got ten dollars and I can't decide how to spend it

Should I buy Universal Themes, the new one from Muse or the Rolling Stones Sticky Fingers reissue?

Dear 13-year-old kid, buy Ida "I Know About You" CD instead.

I thought it was a title to a new SKM track

What on earth made you think that @sg70471? It's not like Koz likes long titles.

Mr ShanghaiDumpling - give your money to someone who deserves it, i.e. some artist who has put in a lot of time and effort into his album, and not just made it on the spot. I suggest Salome by Marriages.

However, if you must choose between those 3, I say go with the Stones even though I don't like 'em. Avoid UT and Muse(Queen wannabes) at all costs.

Or an older Sun Kil Moon/RHP release.

I'm a 13-year-old kid, I've got ten dollars and I can't decide how to spend it

Need something to occupy my time after The Jinx on HBO ended

Man I loved that show and my girlfriend said she liked it too

When we were lying next to each other in a tiny bed in my hotel room

Anyways like I said I've got some cash lying around, want to buy some tunes

Can't decide if it should be the Rolling Stones reissue or maybe Muse

Or how about the newest one by Sun Kil Moon

I'd buy it but Pitchfork wrote a bad review

Damned if that review didn't fuck me up

Used to like that site, now not so much

Write about my position as a celebrity and the way I use it

But don't ever write a bad word about my beautiful music

Laid in bed thinking 'bout that damn review all night

Reminds me of the Mayweather Pacquaio fight

People complained that it was boring and lame

But it was just two guys doing their job and I'm very much the same

Just trying to make music that make assholes on the internet whine a lot

And make thirteen-year-old kids spend the only cash they've got

    BIGGER than Los Lobos
    His situation’s hopeless
    Everybody knows the score

We know that he’s a fighter
And if he was a few pounds lighter
We'd surely love him even more

    Like in Watson/Eubank 2
    The uppercut was true
And left him feeling very sore

    But if he came back
    With a nicely sung track
He'd be the Koz we liked before.

    @sangeronimo - a classic parody. Kudos!

For anyone wanting to do more lyrics, be sure to put 2 spaces after each line or it won't line up right. See this thread for more info.

    ( @ShanghaiDumplingShop I fixed yours )

Fair enough @lament, but Koz doesn't like spaces and doesn't care if it lines up or not.

This is actually really good advice, IMHO. Love that album.

The sad realization we should all reach is that this probably took sangeronimo longer to write than it took Mark to write one of the sections on any of Universal Themes. And it rhymes. Pitchfork would probably give it a higher score as well.
